One of the things I'd discovered about "experts" is that sometimes they make statements that are just not true. Recently a friend told me she wanted to add hyperlinks to a MS Word document and her "experts" who were then converting that document into a PDF format told her that was not possible.

Which was interesting since I'd just told my friend about creating a brandable PDF document. And after hearing what I'd done she wanted to know how was that possible.

Of course, the problem was her "experts". Someone who either didn't have the tools to make it happen or who didn't really know what they were doing.

Either way, I was able to explain right on the telephone how to easily create hyperlinks in a MS Word document and to make those links show up in her PDF documents.

So while it's very easy and just about anyone could be told the simple steps, I thought a simple 4:30 minute video would be even easier to watch and learn from.

And for those wondering just how hard is it to make a video like this, I'll tell you that it took about 20 minutes. I lost about 5 minutes when I found I'd just recorded the video while my microphone was turned off. Which meant I had to do it a second time. But believe me, when you have the right tools it's really easy to do multimedia tutorials.
