Producing How-To Videos and DVDs for Profit
Bob Chambers
Printer-Friendly Format

Right now you can be creating videos that people are anxious to buy... right in your own home. And your project can look just like a Hollywood production... without the big cost.

I can tell you that back in 1990 I saw my first "desktop video production" and fell in love with the concept of being able to create first rate videos at home. And in 1992 I built my first video studio and was ready to go.

Since then digital video has hit the scene and now you can be producing DVDs just like the big boys (and girls).

But before that I had to learn how to do video.

Sure, I had a video camera and like most people was taking horrible shots of everything I could find.

I know you've seen those amateur videographers. They move the camera all around to show everything. Imagine their poor audience watching those moving scenes!

So I got my first "how-to" create professional videos from Bill Myers and later got another one from Barbara (Barb) Besteni. And soon I had all of the "how-to" videos from both people so I could actually do it.

Then I teamed up with my friend, Leonard S. Smith, Jr., a retired member of the Directors Guild of America. He really showed me the ropes. One of his last series that he was associated with was M*A*S*H* (it's playing on our television as I write this).

But believe me, it was those first "how-to" videos that got me started. And now you can learn the latest steps to create your own videos and DVDs using the latest technologies.

Technologies that a few years ago would have cost you thousands and now are just a few hundred of dollars.

If you've even thought of creating your own video then you need to look at Producing How-To DVDs for Profit.
