A New Way to Get Noticed

One reason we get overwhelmed on the Internet is that there are so many others doing the same thing as we are. When you decide to be different then you will no longer be lost in the crowd. Last week I showed you how to take a product that was sold with a license and create your own website with a point of sales (using ClickBank). But I believe most people who do this forget one important item. Today there are many affiliate programs and just about everyone is trying to make a sale without any reason why someone should choose you verses another. And when it comes to offering licensed programs, the difference between all those offering the licensed program is zero. So why would someone buy from you? Unless you provided something more than all the others. That's the way to stand out from the crowd. Be different. One approach is to change the offer that came with your licensed program. How do you change the offer? Give something more than everyone else. An example is the program I showed you last week at http://frontiergold.com/popup/ Here is a simple software program that I was able to buy for $34.95. Included with this sale was the master license to sell to others. A Master License means that not only can you sell this product but you can offer the master license to others who buy from you. And they can sell the product and offer the master license to those who buy from them. So very quickly there will be a lot of people out there offering this Popup software package. Now if I were to add to the offer (you get the software, a website, and download instructions) then my offer would be better than others. Provided what I offer adds to the value of the software. One approach I'd take with software like this is to offer an online tutorial. It's real easy to take Cantasia, http://www.techsmith.com , and create a simple tutorial showing how to use this software. There are two ways you could do this. The first and most oblivious is to offer the tutorial when someone buys from you. That way they would have to buy your package to get this added value. But a better way would be to offer your tutorial on the website before someone buys the software. Now as you might guess that means they could buy the software elsewhere and then get your tutorial. Or they would get your tutorial and then buy the software from someone else. So why is this a better approach than just offering the tutorial with the software? If you've heard of the marketing "virus" then you'll get an idea why this works. By letting anyone see your tutorial you'll essentially start a viral marketing program.
And that means your website and name will get better known on the Internet. Plus if your tutorial is good then others will seek you out when they are considering buying some special purpose software to see if you've created a tutorial for it. I can think of no better way of getting "known" on the Internet than by providing a simple service like a software tutorial. And once you've mastered Cantasia software you'll be able to create a number of onscreen tutorials. And add value to products as well as create a name for yourself. When you see some of the big players on the Internet today you have to realize that a few years ago they were "nobodies". Terry Dean was delivering pizzas. Cory Rudl was writing about cars. And then they got known on the Internet which made them stars. Today people listen and buy from them because they thing some of that success will rub off. The difference between you and those stars is very little. You're still looking at how to create income on the Internet while they have found a way. And one way they excel is by giving more to their customers than anyone else. That's how you can join their ranks.
